(In case any concerts have changed dates/ changed venues/ been cancelled or I've made a typo, you'd be wise to check out the venue websites before heading out the door)

My tip of the week -King Charles @ The Fly on Tuesday (see photo). I saw these guys for the first time a couple of weeks ago supporting Mumford & Sons, I hadn't seen them before and came away really impressed. Expect lots of energy, volume and hair -listen to them here.

In other news, TLS favourites The Low Anthem have announced a London date already for next February (11th), this time they're at The Shepherds Bush Empire. What a year it has been for them. I saw them play at The Slaughtered Lamb pub (review here) to a hundred or so people back in May this year and now they are going to be headlining the Empire which is a terrific leap to a 2000 capacity. Good on you The Low Anthem, you deserve this. If you're interested in tickets there's a pre-sale this Wednesday morning (30th Sept) and then on general sale on Friday (2nd Oct) here and here.
