I saw many of the artists on this weeks list at the brilliant End of The Road festival over the weekend so most of my recommendations are fresh and up to date -you may have to allow for the hot'n'spicy festival cider factor on a couple - it got cold in the evenings and slipped down just a little too well, I'm pretty sure it improved my dancing though. Will post my photos and thoughts on the End of The Road festival as soon as I've fixed the washing machine flood that's just happened in the kitchen.

Things are really picking up now after a quiet August.

Just to mention that the Daylight event is actually on Sunday (20th) this week, I believe it's an "Open Weekend" at Union Chapel so you can go and learn & explore more of this unique venue and well as seeing some free music :-)
